Software-as-a-service specialist House of Insurtech has announced a new data partnership today with driver learning app and platform RoadHow. The RoadHow app helps and guides drivers to become safer on the road and to be more aware of risks by providing feedback on their driving habits and offering continuous learning courses that earn customer rewards.
The RoadHow risk score is created from this assessment of the customer’s driving skill, knowledge and awareness which can potentially be used to save them money on their insurance with insurers who embed this unique risk insight when pricing a driver’s policy.
Announcing the partnership, James Downes, CEO of House of Insurtech said “Over recent months we have added a number of new data partners to our growing digital insurance ecosystem which simplifies access to data enrichment and offers new ways to assess risk. Our goal is to make insurance easier for both customers and providers so our partnership with RoadHow fits perfectly with this philosophy.
Adrian Ryan, CEO of RoadHow said, “We are delighted to partner with the team at House of Insurtech. Their disruptive approach to using data and insight to make insurance easier is exactly the kind of relationship that RoadHow’s risk-related data is designed to support. We look forward to working closely together.”
